Soroptimist International of El Centro is excited to announce that our annual "Wine Women and Dessert" wine tasting charity event is back! This year promises to be an even more fantastic event as its been upgraded to a Gala! Please come and enjoy the enhanced experience with a delicious dinner, wine and dessert experience.
Please join us at this wonderful event where we will be celebrating and honoring Soroptimist International of El Centro's 2023 Ruby Award Recipients. The Soroptimist Ruby Award is designed to honor women who, through their professional or personal efforts, are making extraordinary differences in the lives of women or girls. This is Soroptimist International of El Centro's way of saying "Thank You" to the women in the Imperial Valley community, who through their excellence have defined what it is to inspire others and who promote through their greatest efforts the ideals of the sincerity of friendship, the joy of achievement, the dignity of service, the integrity of profession, and the love of country. Honorees are women who have worked to improve the lives of other women or girls. Their work has had a significant impact, and also inspires and encourages other women.
The proceeds from this fundraising event will got to Soroptimist International of El Centro's programs and projects that provide the women and girls of the Imperial Valley the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and to help us continue our mission to be a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
